In May 2007 the constantly sold out “Hoehner Rockin’ Roncalli Show” gave a special performance in Aachen. Georg Leiste was the funny central thread of the program and enthralled the audience with his versatile acts.

2006
The audiences were enthralled with the opening ceremony of the “Festival of Dreams” in Innsbruck as well as at the clown workshop with Pierre Byland in Switzerland.
Georg Leiste’s successful performances helped support the shows at Witzigmann – Roncalli – Bajazzo in Frankfurt. At Freiburg’s Christmas circus “Circolo” the comedy duo “Tébé und Leiste” lead the show with their familiar versatile way and again with great success.

Engaged for the new “Hoehner Rockin’ Roncalli” show “Sing Sala Bim” in December 2004 in Cologne, as well as for the show in March 2005 in Juelich.

Early in 2004 Georg Leiste performed in Hamburg at Harald Wohlfahrt’s well known dinner theatre “Palazzo” and enthralled the audiences, especially with his very effective parody of Luciano Pavarotti.

2003
Classical music combined with clowning around was always a very interesting topic for Georg Leiste. Consequently he joined a production of the “Junge Philharmoniker Koeln” and transformed Mussorgsky’s “Pictures of an exhibition” into mime and comedy.

Leiste was still active with his solo program. In 2000 he was part of the circus show “Hoehner Rockin’ Roncalli”. He had so much success that he also participated in the show “30 Years of Hoehner” in the “Koeln Arena.

1996
Parallel to the duo “Tébé und Leiste” Georg Leiste founded another comedy duo with his colleague Alex Andrioni. They called themselves “Andrioni und Leiste” and produced “Komikaze” which was directed by Thomas Bruchhäuser.

Together with his partner Thomas Bruchhäuser, they founded the comedy duo “Tébé und Leiste”. They have had much success in all leading theatres, at festivals, as well as galas and trade fairs. TV is also their claim to fame. e.g. ARD, ZDF, ORF, RTL and WDR.

At the Eurovision show “Prix de Jeunesse – Youth film” he was the clowning central figure.

1981
In 1981 - 1984 Georg Leiste started his apprenticeship at the clown school “Scuola Teatro Dimitri” in Switzerland. Right after finishing his apprenticeship, he started touring across Europe and overseas with the international clown troop “Compagnia Teatro Paravento”.

1979
1979 – 1980 In Shakespear’s “The Merchant of Venice” he played the part of Sancho Pansa in a coproduction with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Munich. He also received an award for the best clown newcomer at the Theatre Festival Munich.

At 10 years old he had already participated in a theatre production called “Momo” in Munich, directed by Hanna Schygulla.
For the first time at a theatre festival in Munich he performed on the high-wire in 1977.

Georg Leiste was born on 10th of April 1964 in Waldshut (Germany) and grew up in Munich. He was a pupil of the Rudolf Steiner school.
